LONDON (Reuters) - Hotelier Millennium & Copthorne Hotels <A HREF="http://go.reuters.co.uk/financeQuoteLookup.jhtml?ticker=MLC.L&qtype=sym&infotype=info&qcat=news">MLC.L</A> posted a 64 percent rise in first-quarter profit on Thursday helped, by strong trading and improving markets in the United States and Singapore, it said.
