LONDON (Reuters) - Shares slipped into negative territory Thursday, erasing their initial gains as mining stocks tracked metals prices lower, although fund manager Man Group <A HREF="http://go.reuters.co.uk/financeQuoteLookup.jhtml?ticker=EMG.L&qtype=sym&infotype=info&qcat=news">EMG.L</A> stood out among top gainers after revealing forecast-beating profits.
